This is a fully functional Chinon 612XL Macro IDEAL for normal and low light conditions.
Great for a low cost entry into the rediscovered world of Super 8 film photography with its amazing vintage look, or for anyone starting off on Film School.
Motor runs smooth, in all speeds. Smooth and perfect manual zoom! Powered Zoom in/out works but is sometimes finicky, nothing too bad at all.

Frame rates: 18, 30 + single frame
- Pressing the 30 f/s button during filming increases the frame rate so when played back at the normal 18 f/s frame rate creates a slow-motion effect.

- Holding the BLC button in then activating the shutter adjusts the exposure so while this camera does not have any exposure compensation, the use of the BLC button can be used to over expose the film

- Has feelers for both the film speed notch and the filter notch found in Super 8 Film Cartridges.
DISCLAIMER: all super 8 cameras are about 50 years old, please understand that no lens will be perfect, having said that, due to the low resolution aspect of Super 8 format, most imperfections will not be seen once film is developed.
